ORDINANCE NO. 14

RECODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES

AN ORDINANCE TO REVISE, REPEAL AND RECODIFY THE ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ACT 3 OF THE PUBLIC ACTS OF 1895 AS AMENDED BY ACT 18 OF THE PUBLIC ACTS OF 1979.

THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD ORDAINS:

Section 1. REPEAL OF ORDINANCES

The following ordinances are hereby repealed:

  1. Sidewalk snow removal ordinance.
    Date of Enactment: December 5, 1945.
  2. Repair of sidewalk ordinance.
    Date of Enactment: August 1, 1949.
  3. Automobile trailer ordinance.
    Date of enactment: January 6, 1953.
  4. Disorderly conduct ordinance.
    Date of Enactment: November 4, 1968.
  5. Cruelty to animal ordinance.
    Date of Enactment: November 4, 1968.
  6. State construction Code Ordinance - Plumbing Code
    Date of Enactment: May 5, 1975.
  7. State Construction Code - General Construction
    Date of Enactment: December 4, 1974.
  8. Uniform Traffic Code
    Date of Enactment: July 18, 1977
  9. Amendment to Uniform Traffic Code
    Date of Enactment: May 19, 1980

Section 2. RECODIFICATION

The remaining Ordinances of the Village of Default are hereby recodified as follows:

  1. Village Zoning Ordinance is now Ordinance 1.
  2. Dangerous Buildings Ordinance is now Ordinance 2.
  3. Sewer Use and Rate Ordinance is now Ordinance 3.
  4. Water Supply System Ordinance is now Ordinance 4.
  5. Water Connection Ordinance is now Ordinance 5.
  6. Weed Control Ordinance is now Ordinance 6.
  7. Flood Hazard Ordinance is now Ordinance 9.
  8. Littering Ordinance is now Ordinance 10.
  9. Curfew Ordinance is now Ordinance 11.
  10. Dog Control Ordinance is now Ordinance 12.
  11. Domestic Animal Ordinance is now Ordinance 13.

Section 3. EFFECTIVE DATE

This Ordinance shall take effect 20 days after its passage.
